Title: Husqy 390 XPG carb and handle heater wire removal??
Post by: NuTreez69 on September 09, 2013, 05:14:54 pm
Anyone know how to disconnect the carb and handle heater wires?
Do they have to be kept isolated and sealed if cut?
Does this have any effect on the capcitor impedence?
Thanks for any assistance!!!
Regards
Tom

I think it is a series circuit? If you cut one wire, none of the heat works. If you measure with a meter one wire will have voltage and the other will read case ground.

Had a 346xpg and the carb part was unplugged. Saw ran fine.
