Title: husky 3120xp trigger disassemble
Post by: Marty on October 23, 2013, 09:21:41 pm
I need to reconnect the throttle cable to the trigger but can't get the handle apart. it looks like the whole saw needs to be split in half. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

I never had a 3120 trigger section apart.

I did a 372 trigger/operator presence lever and it wasn't easy until I eventually figured it out. But it is also something you will forget a few months later.

The key on the 372 was the trigger pivot pin.

If you are just wanting to thread the trigger cable, it can be done on the 372 without taking any thing apart

Husqvarna service manual   http://www.getsaws.com/PDFs/w9600001.pdf

124 pages with 3120xp listed. Maybe something in there to help with pics.
