Anyone know the initial carb settings for this saw? Suppose I could start with 1&1 and go from there. ::) But I would like to know what Stihl says.

The 017 & 021 are both at 1 turn

Thanks 660 it is running, the guy can come get the little mouse f$$$$r! Carb needed a kit and also needed new lines. Ethanol :-[

Had a guy drop off a 020 avp the other day. Needs carb carb kit, fuel lines and crank seals. I called the guy with estimate and he said keep it! Don't know what I am going do with it. going it parts pile I guess.

Not a bad saw unless you have to work on them . You can rebuid a carb in 10 minutes but it takes the best part of an hour to get to it .

+1 on that, the whole series is a PITA to work on. Not bad little saws though, good for kindling and other small trim jobs. The 015s are getting hard to find parts for and the oil tank gasket has been changed to be much thicker than it used to be.
