Title: PHO 338xpt weight
Post by: Cut4fun . on January 30, 2014, 05:55:52 pm
Anyone have the actual PHO dry weight of the 338xpt or 2139T?  I know paperwork saws 7.7lbs but want to see if actual or close.

CS2139T
  - Engine: 39cc
  - Power: 2.3 hp
  - Weight: 7.7 lb

I'm also curious about the weights.  I have both a 2139T & a 338xpt California but do not have a scale to use.  I would also like to know battle weight, both tanks full ready to cut.

I can see dumping the fuel & letting the tank air out, but what do you do about cleaning the oil reservoir?  Do you rinse it with a little bit of fuel after draining?

Most rinse tank or had new saws when they did PHO dry weights.  I have someone weighing the 338 and T435 for me. Just waiting on their trip to postal scales.
