I picked this Jonsered 2186 up today. Low compression. I know nothing about them except they are like the Husqvarna 385. 85cc. Anybody run one?(http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g457/rjcfritz/sawpics046.jpg)

I was glad to see it has 4 transfer ports. :) but not happy to see it has, what i believe a rev limited blue coil. :'( (http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g457/rjcfritz/sawpics047.jpg)

Only thing I know about these are they were the sister saw to 38 and there was a batch of 385's that had main bearing troubles in the beginning, but never heard of any on the 2186.
Dont the 390 top ends bolt right up on these. ;)

I believe the problems with the initial 385s were mostly solved before they started to make the 2186.
The 390xp top-end is a direct bolt on, as far as I know.

Installed a new Meteor piston. Bone stock with muffler mod. The wood is maple. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CodJdXYk_20
