Title: Is there a website....
Post by: SDB777 on February 23, 2014, 06:37:05 pm
Is there a website that has downloadable service manuals/IPL for the older Jonsered saws?

I have the 2186 Turbo and a 2094

Both are fine running, moderately strong, running saws...but I foresee needing to get inside both at some point soon to 'freshen up' the internals!  I would like to be able to get into both without any 'surprises', if you know what I mean. ;)

Also, is there one place that would be the 'authority' to order parts/pieces that I may end up needing?

Scott (these are hand-me-down saws...I'd like to keep them) B

Thank you very much Kevin!

You are going to help me keep these saws in the family for quite some time. My wifes unlce passed and left these two well worn worksaws for me to take care of...

The 2094 still needs to get a brake handle, but as long as I am using it on my chainsaw mill attachment, i doesn't really need it I guess.

The 2186 doesn't really 'need' anything, but I like being prepared!

The IPLs also were availiable trough several Jonsered website, like the UK and the Canadian ones, the last time I checked.

Barrets site is nice though, for several brands.
