Title: How do I unsubscribe from a thread?

I get some notifications from a thread I may have posted in once, a long time ago.  If I don't want to receive these anymore on that topic, is there a way to unsubscribe from that thread only?

It might be obvious how to do this, but I looked around a bit and can't seem to find how to do this.

Typically the default is that there is only one notification of a post in a thread until you visit the thread. Then you will get another notice the next time someone posts to that thread.

If you never visit the thread, you never get any more notices after the first one.

You can change these defaults yourself but the default ones are like described above.

On some other forums I can select 'Unsubscribe from this thread' from specific,  individual threads.

Se let me list all the threads that I am subscribed to and delete some of them.

I did not see options like that here, but I may have missed them. I think that if I 'ignore' a new response, it stays in my 'Show new replies' list forever?

I'll go subscribe to a thread to see what happens.  I never do so dont know if anything is in threads or not.

Yep it is in thread at bottom.

 To subscribe click  NOTIFY, to unsubscribe click on UNNOTIFY

These buttons shown right under last post in thread or page.

    Add poll
    Notify  =  will be UnNotify if subscribed to thread.
    Mark unread
    Send this topic
    Print

The only option I get "Are you sure you wish to enable notification of new replies for this topic?" (for example this thread, which I am already subscribed to).

Not that big of a deal - I just wanted to see if there was an easy way to do it.  I will try the 'Notify' button next time one of those threads comes up.

IF you are subscribed to that thread the notify button changes to UNnotify.

 I tried it,  same button.  Just did it again in this thread and thats how it works.

OK - I had to 'Notify' (even though I was already being notified?), and then go back again in order to get the 'Un-Notify' option.
