Post by: KilliansRedLeo on May 09, 2014, 09:49:39 am
Anyone come across a solvent for cured Yamabond or the like? Getting tired of playing with sharp objects, a razor blade.

I just removed a cylinder the other day that I used Threebond 1194 on and I just use finger nail for the excess and a razor scraper I use on all removals for clean up.
Never hardly anything on the mating surface to clean off.  I just use carb cleaner on rag and  wipe down mating area after that.

Try a super scraper.

3Bond/ yamabond doesn't like acetone, Soak the case /cylinder in for 30-40 minutes, comes of easily
