The serial tag is so fuzzy I can't read it! Something about the serial number looks odd to me.

The seller says the tag reads ' Husqvarna 372XP 965 70 23-00 s/n 08 2201061 Husqvarna AB'. If it really says that, using the 'Q' in the reference to AB Sweden, then the saw may be a fake. To give the guy the benefit of the doubt he could have typed it wrong. A correct tag should read 'Husqvarna 372XP 965 70 23-00 s/n 08 2201061 Huskvarna AB SWEDEN'. A bunch of fakes came into the country a while back with this error.

Looks real to me. The knock offs always seem to have something obvious missing or wrong on them.

If I remember correctly, wasn't the serial number a dead give away? all copies seemed to have the same one? I can't find that info but I'm pretty sure.
might be over on asshat site.....

The dogs on the front looked possibly used? Can see the air injection through the recoil side pics though. I know there's one Husky dealer in Marcy NY who had a NOS 372xpw, 75cc last I looked,  which was probably a year ago. Still a few around I believe.
