i have been messing with this fuel line replacement and don't seem to have it correct, there are 3 lines, 2 lines into the tank, the lowest line in the tank i have it in the tank only about an inch(where does the other end attach to?), the upper line with the fuel filter on the end attaches where?
also it looks as though there is 2 different sizes of fuel line
also lets call the attachment areas to the carb as the elbow tube and the straight tube, i believe the fuel pump end is the straight tube and the elbow tube is closest to the fuel tank
Help
thanks for the help on the carb rebuilt also

Here again, a picture or two sure would help us help you.
I did one of these about 3 years ago. I cannot remember the details as you mention.
The lines to the tank - The one that just sticks in the tank a little ways and that's all goes to the outlet of the purge bulb. It is a fuel return line.
The line with the filter on it goes to the pump part of the carb. This fitting on the carb is likely within the main body of the carb.
The other fitting on the carb goes to the fuel purge bulb.
The fuel purge bulb has a check valve in it. If you get the lines backwards, The purge bulb will not pump and the engine will never run for it will suck air back though that purge bulb.

there are 2 different sizes of fuel lines, i believe the line with the filter is the larger size and it attaches to the elbow fitting closest to tank, any idea what size line goes where and am i correct the filter line from the tank goes to the elbow tube on the carb?
thanks dave

It's been four years since I've looked at one of those?
If I saw a picture of the carb I could tell you.
The filter line goes into the main carb body on the pump side..
The line to the purge pump comes from the regulator side of the carburetor.
