Title: Bar oil 330 Pro

I can't keep the bar oil from running out. As fast as I pour it in, it runs out around the bar under the housing. Not sure what the problem could be. I have clean the area and see nothing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Necco2

Look under your chain tensioner. Sometimes when folks dont get bar on right they tighten down cover and it cracks the case under tensioner. Then bar oil leaks out all the time.

Have seen this on saws I have bought and came in.

If this is the case. I redneck fix them whole, but 3000 fps  can weld these back up like new if he has the case half.

Just seen a post by 3000 fps where a bar stud had turned in case in a 335 and **** crankcase too. 

 Tensioner will need removed to see under good.

Around bar studs or loose etc and crack.

Yep it does sound like that is the case.   The bar adjuster has punched a hole into the oil tank. 
I have welded up a few.   It is a pain to do because it is down in a small recess in the case.

Thanks Guys, you were all right. I removed the bar adjuster and found the crack. Has any one tried JB weld to repair the crack.

Yep!  Last one I fixed I split case so I could do most of the filling on the inside.  Clean area w/non chlorinated brake cleaner, then clean it again.  Another option is to use Seal All sealer.  Use same cleaning procedure.  Can't have any oil residue/film.

I think welding is the better solution in the long run. But these cases are often magnesium. It takes someone with 3000FPS' knowledge to weld them.

I believe that case is very close if not the same for the 330 and the 3750.
