Mike tested a stock 2004 372 with base gasket delete broke in against his stock 665 not broke in yet 2 tanks.

665 sounds kinda fat.
Put the 675 top end on the 665 then run em :)

Think Mike was just seeing how close the 665 would be to a 372 for us. Not would it out cut it.

No problem. I'll play with the 665 more after the 7900 is on to it's owner.

I have one 665 stock that I am going to play around with. I have a new OEM 681 top end on the way from Germany and a 675 top end on order so my thought is to run the 665, then convert to 675, run then convert to 681, run. Just to see the differences my self. I have a stock 327XPW to run them against, but I'm no saw racer so the times will not be as fast as others have posted.

I may run the 665 in the same squared up log I ran the 7900 in yesterday. I need to mill a maple cant so it won't be so hard on chains.
