dolmar 5100s started running funny at an idle the rpms just goes wild, it just starts to run real fast I think it might be the crank seals any ideas or help would be great  ???   I bought the saw new in 2009 never gave me any problems until 2/3 days ago

The chain side seal is more likely to give trouble from running the chain too tight.

Don't run it anymore til you find leak.  You could cook the piston.  Need to do pressure test to find leak.
