Haven't sold any of the top handle versions, but sold a few of the rear handle saws
and guys love them. Super light weight and fairly powerful for the size they are.

stihl 150T has a normal carb you tune or m-tronic? Guessing by holes in cover reg carb.

Taking one in trade it looks like.

Wanted a echo 271T or 2511T but a trade in is a trade in.

I ask the past owner about the bar  having no paint and the oiler working or not at times. He said the oiler works great and that he removes the paint from his bars once they start showing paint wear. Said he does this on all his bars.

Past owner said he had already done the muffler mod on the stihl 150 T.  I made a few cuts with the 12" bar in 5"-6" ash and the 1/4" did what I was expecting it to NOT do. So that is fine now with me. Smooth and pretty dang quick.

I would love to know if the air filter stay clean on the inside in a dirty trimming environment....Like just 5 palm trees....I have to say im not happy with my cs 2511t right now on how much crap i find inside the airfilter ...i wish they would do all the air filters like the cs -400 style....the new air filters are a weak spot in my opinion on all the new echos....next time you cut in a dirty environment take some pics if you could thanks!

yes you see the o-ring i added i may as well take it off its still pulling crap inside the airfilter....just 5 queen palms...saw was perfectly clean so i could check .... its not so bad on a few oak limbs but i bought it for palms....to tell the truth all the new echo filters seem to be pulling fines... my old cs 3000 was better.... and my echo cs 400 is way better.... best airfilter they have IMHO...

There is a guy named Marc in the CR G that runs the 150 and 2511 for pruning commercial.  I'll show him the pics.

No i dont think so ... looking at the back of it and where the stuff was inside the filter seems to be pulling through where it goes on the carb neck /lip/ring? and not along the filter seams/edge....why i thought a rubber o-ring would work under some compression to seal it off...it must not have sealed near as good as i thought it would....will try grease next then silicon if i have to....i could blow it off quite a few times till i needed to wash it....

Was at 2 different dealers today.  Neither had a 150T  on the shelf and looked at me weird when I ask about them.

1 did have the 1/8" file guide kit I wanted. But only the file it came with.
The other had sets of 3 1/8 " files but gouged on the price of them. Paid the extra so I hand them on hand till I get a dozen.

Was getting some pics for stubnail of air filter

Then threw on 10" set up

I really want to figure out how to bypass the H side epa metal stop. I want to fatten it up some.

Saving pics ( not mine) of muffler mod and drilling pin out for full adjustment of H and trim plastic tab off on L

Much better. Drilled the pin out of the epa stop in the H side metal shroud. Was making it to lean and hitting rev limiter on the coil. Prefer my saws tuned fatter then their pinned epa stop allowed.

I don't drill the stop pin on the ones I've done.
I turn them all the way left, then remove the assembly(the same one that came out when you drilled the pin.
Then I file/grind off the stop on the assembly and reinstall.
Doing it this way I can adjust mine with a screwdriver as normal without worrying about that assembly falling out.
Works for me,
Brett

I adjust with screwdriver too.  Never heard of one falling out before on these.

If you turn all the way to the left they stop at the pin and are still to lean. Least was on this 150.

Are you able to show how you remove the whole assembly?  The metal shroud and all?
