Hi everybody; I'm confused about the bore diameter on my 1800. The ring I ordered (530024929) is way too small. Are the bores of the 2000 and the 1800 the same. My bore is about 1.257

If you look in the IPL's, you will see references to "type 1", " type 2", "type 3", etc saws. Some 1800's are actually the same as 2000's (regarding the P/C's).

Ok I'll check it out. Acres gives the bore size on an 1800 but not a 2000.

Didnt know that. I always assumed the 1800 was 30cc. Guess I need to pay attention now too.

I never seen a 1800 super. Just 1800.

Another thing I noticed was that that the wt309 carb on that doesn't have a round bore on the choke side. It is partially closed off compared to most walbros. Is it possible that they used the same piston and cylinder on both engines and intentionally restricted the power on the 1800 with the carb?

Mystery solved somebody switched the covers. It's not an 1800. It's a 2300 av. Bore 1.525 Stroke 1.250. Appreciate the input and your patience
I'm still just learning.

I was wondering about poulan 2300AV isnt it 38cc ?

Yes the 2300 is 38 cc or 2.3 CI The stroke on my saw is 1.250 The bore is 1.525. I used on of those online calculators on how to find the CC of a cylinder. It works out to 2.283 CI or 37.4 CC. The bore I posted originally was incorrect.
