So have had this saw for a while. Came in extremely hard to pull over. Discovered the problem was the RCJ6Y plug that was in it, piston was contacting the plug, closed the gap right up. No damage to piston, engine turns freely with no plug.

Looked the correct plug up on Sears, CJ6. So, here is the question, is the CJ6 plug a shorter reach than the RCJ6Y? Near as I can figure it must be, but I don't know.

The only difference was the extended tip.

Thanks, 660, the saw had a 'Y' plug in it, wrong! Correct plug and it started in three pulls! Great it is outta here! Although it is the hardest 60cc to pull over that I have ever run into! I don't think the old guy who owns it  will be able to get it started.

Those have an undersized pulley making it harder than it needs to be.  Look for a decomp. valve under the fast idle button.
