Title: Oregon Pro Lite / Husky Techlite
Post by: Cut4fun . on November 10, 2014, 04:11:20 pm
Trying to find out what the weight difference really is between a oregon prolite and a husky tech lite. For small saws like 338 540 only.

Oregon pro lite 12" - 16"   http://www.oregonproducts.com/pro/products/bars/pro_91_91Intenz.htm

Just dont see where this tech lite could be much lighter then pro lite.

They say saves 18% of the regular bars.  But nothing comparing to a pro-lite bar.

I've only handled one of the small mount Techlite bars.  Was on a 540XPT at the dealer.  16" IIRC.  Felt a bit less nose heavy than a 'regular' laminated bar (such as a ProLite) on similar tophandles.  I was wanting to put a 28" Techlite on my 272XP..............................but hadn't yet gotten over the cost (and then they stopped selling them).
