Title: 52ZK 11W5 PC
Post by: farmboy on November 16, 2014, 01:21:49 pm
Picked up 2 PC Mahle 52ZK 11W5.  Bought them thinking 7900 or 681.  I'm thinking Dolmar 7910 SLR cylinders because the exhaust port is stepped for the tube.  Didn't notice the spark plug is almost straight up and down not angled like 7900.  Pistons are the old windowed pistons that the windows are cast over to make slab sided piston.  You can see the windows inside the piston.  Need verification on what they fit.  Checked the base with cyl gasket for 7900 dead on.

Until Kevin gets more space you could upload them to something like Photo Bucket and then link them to here?

If your using the Firefox Mozilla Browser, here is an add on that doesnt take up much space and works great.  All you do is right click on the pic and make it smaller in size to meet the upload requirements.

Can upload 300kb pics 8 at a time. What do we need more space?  Is the whole site out of space?

Allowed file types: doc, gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png, txt, zip
Restrictions: 8 per post, maximum total size 5120KB, maximum individual size 399KB

Make that 399KB per pic  so confused why a small 168kb wont post?  ???

Sounds like they are for a Dolmar Cut Off saw like a PC7414.

Yep 50mm.  When I bought them I didn't think about chop saw. Good thing is I got 2 of em CHEAP.  Bad news is I thought they were 52mm.  Anybody ever run the timing numbers on one?  Should be torque and lots of it.

they aren't that impressive. the 7414 is a very well built saw but power wise a ts420 spanks them.  if I remember correctly with a blade buried in 4 inch concrete dry cutting they will hold around 7k rpms. I did some side by side comparisons of ts420, k750/k760(cant remember which it was), and 7414. rpms in the cut and the pressure you could apply while cutting the 7414 lagged way behind a ts420 and was about even with the 750/760. 7414 is 73cc. ts420 66cc. we even tried muffler mods on the 7414 to wake them up. dual port muffler mod and that slr chamber removed they gain some power but still not quite comparable to a ts420
