Title: Jonsered 630 Super
Post by: thumper81201 on September 13, 2011, 09:24:21 am
I have had one for over 20 years and it still runs great!!  Does anyone know where I can get parts?  I live West of the Mississippi and Huskvarna took over the Jonsered parts distribution for my area.  So getting parts out here is almost none existent.  Any help will be much appreciated.

What are you looking for?   A lot of Husky 268-272-61-66 parts fit a 630 Jred.

Welcome to the site thumper

You might also send spike60 a PM on parts needed. He seems to have a way of having parts on hand for Jonsered and Husqvarna.  ;)

Also 2 post in threads turns off the spam filter that will make you verify before sending PM's.

Parts for the later single coil models are still pretty good availability wise. Early twin coil units are another story, including on the Husky side of the family. But in general, parts for the entire 625/630/670 family are going to become iffy as the years add up. Over the past year, items such as air cleaner covers and 670 cylinders have become NLA. Been about 15 years now since these saws were on the market.

I picked up an aftermarket ignition module for a husky 266 w/ the 2 piece ignition and it worked perfect on my 630.
