Title: Figuring out Husky part numbers !!!
Post by: fordrocks on February 18, 2015, 08:15:05 pm
Does anyone have a chart that shows what Husky part numbers are for which model saw? I have a chart for Stihl, they are easy to figure out. I just bought a truck load of Husky parts and need to sort them all out.

Have seen some husky dealers online that have partsmart with a where used function.
http://www.bobsoutdoorpower.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=HUS

In the box on the right at the bottom enter the part number hit enter. Will take you to another page that will tell you what it is and how much it cost. On the right side there will be a button that says model or something don't remember click there and it will pull up all the models in fits. Kind of a slow way to do it but better than nothing I guess. Hope it helps

In addition to that, Jacks Small Engines has a good website for looking up part numbers as well, with diagrams.  Check them out.

There used to be a parts site you could put the husky part number in and it would show all models of saws that took that part.

Most of the lookups will show list of saws the part fits. SEPW, Jacks, upstateoutdoorpowerequipment to name a few.  I use this one most of the time.  Doesn't give model on all of them tho.   Don't buy parts there just use the lookup.   http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/p/husqvarna-parts?aribrand=HUS#

Looks very similar to the one jmester posted - likely the same software?

www.ereplacementparts.com works well for this.  Put the part number in the search box.  Usually works best if you take the hyphens and spaces out of the number).

Sometimes it's a bit broad in the "what it fits" department however.  That usually happens with saws in a series where there's multiple models with different bore diameters.  It'll at least get you close enough to know what series it's from.  You can then pull up an IPL from the www.husqvarna.com website (click 'manuals' within the 'support' section) and figure out what exact model it fits.

From my experience they do use the same software.  I have 6-8 lookups all work & look the same.
