Title: poulan xx parts interchangeability

Hi all a friend dropped by today with a nice little poulan xx he scored at a swapmeet and wanted to know if I had a flywheel and starter dogs   I have some xxv poulans  will any parts change over I know very little of the poulans just grab them as trade material if I see them cheap thanks

I had IPL's for XX 20 20D XXV older and XXV micro.   Just compare the IPL's and part numbers and you should get your info.

Don't think there's much of anything that swaps between the XX series and either the Micro series or the XXV series.  They flywheel and starter parts are most likely unique to the XX.  The starter system on those is very different from what's on the other two families.

I have seen some listings in catalogs (such as Oregon) that show the same clutch drum working for the XX and Micro series, but I have yet to verify it. 

The bar mount is the same between the three saw families.....

Try www.barrettsmallengine.com for the IPL's.  The IPL's for the XX saws are listed as "20" and "20D".

I know this is a late response.

I have the same saw and after cleaning, replacing fuel and oil lines, the fuel leaks right out of the fuel rez and runs out the oiler hose.  Any hope or help?
