Here is a good idea for making these saws easier to start.  Primer bulb hadn't thought about it.

No thanks.  I don't like purge bulbs.  Just pull the rope a few more times.  It's a 33cc saw........................ain't like pulling over a 288XP or 2100CD without a comp release.

I've never had a problem with the Micro series.  Only have to pull a bunch of times if the saw has been run dry or has been sitting for a long time. 

If the carb diaphragms/gaskets and/or crank seals are tired (which the often are on 30 year old saws) then they can take more pulls to pump fuel from the tank....

I have to disagree with Eccentric, I just rebuilt a saw that has a purge bulb  and it was running with 4 pulls instead of 13 pulls for the last one without a bulb.
  I know, sooner or later they will give trouble, but I like em.

I prefer no primer bulbs too. I actually disable some saws with them.

I wonder if it really helps or is just a sales gimmick and which carburetor he changed to. Some folks have bad shoulder and like easy start.

I just prime my 2000 thru the carb if it has been sitting a long time.   I don't have to pull it 20 times that way to get it to run.

i'm guessing folks with bad shoulders may like this. me, I don't have the need. mine always start within 5 - 10 pulls after sitting. no big deal. I've got exactly two saws with bulbs; I don't use em

the seller is jrp he is a pretty smart guy ... but i dont think i would want a primer there... also i would really like to see a pick of the routing in the air box.... i mean are the fuel lines over the filter?I clean my filters alot.... did he route them out of the way? i may email him and ask.....as he is a pretty good seller to deal with and a nice guy with info.....i also prime my saws if they sit a long time....
 he may have went to a carb that he replaced with a new style carb???? i saw a few he did like this.... would really like a pic of inside under the air filter cover.....

Anymore, most newer purge bulb setups are single line and act somewhat as a primer. On the outside of the case they look just like the double line setups but inside the case there is just a single line from the metering chamber of the carburetor to the bulb. There's no return line to the top of the tank.
