It is a bit odd that they recommend semi chisel only in .325, and chisel only in 3/8" - they (Husky/Jonsered) still do it that way.

Do you have one for a 910E?

Oregon D024 if the studs haven't been changed. Those are getting hard to find, but it doesn't take much to widen the slot of D196/096 or D009 (large Husky) to fit.

I was finally able to get a 20 inch bar from Oregon as I guess they only do a production run vary rarely. I know I can go much larger than that and am thinking of get one just to have if the need arises to need on as all the parts for it are just whats left on someones shelf or taken from another saw. Just trying to look ahead

Only one I see to buy is 20" too.  Like Niko says everyone seems to be converting the D176 or D009 to them.

Yep.  You can open up the slot on a D176, D009, or D096/D196/UXL bar for a D024 mount.  The D176 just needs a bit more filing as it starts out at 8.22mm or so while the D009 starts out at 9mm and the D096/etc starts out at 9.5mm.

When Jonsered first transitioned from D024 to D009 mount bars on their saws, they provided an 'S' clip stud spacer to allow using the remaining stock of D024 bars on their 'new' D009 mount saws.

D096/196 likely are easier to convert to D024 - but the dl counts are "off", compared to usual Husky/Jonsered ones (bars are shorter for the same called length). The same likely is the case with D176 bars - so what I would use is D009, all in all....

Nominal bolt/slot sizes:

D024, 10 mm (usually 9.8 or so actual)

D196/096, 9.5 mm

D009, 9 mm (misprint on Acres site)

D176, 8 mm (actually more like 8.2, I believe)

D025/Stihl 3003, 12.1 mm (can be used with adaptors, but you have to make them yourself in this case)

Measure you bar bolts, before you do anything!

That transition happened when the Husky factory took over production from the Partner factory about 1987.  ;)
