Title: homelit EZA
Post by: countryhog on August 03, 2015, 08:37:43 am
working on an EZA. Got two glaring problems.
anyone got any tips on how to install the grommet for the fuel line into the tank? tight space.
also, its got a walbro hdc on which the circuit plate is totally stuck. this thing sat for don't-know-how-long with stinky fuel. got it soaking in solvent right now.
any help greatly appreciated.
thanks,
jerry

Try warming the grommet in some hot water to soften it up a bit.

got the grommet on. bunch of lubricant (spit), two dowel rods (with pointy end), holding the tongue just right, and perseverance.
thanks for the suggestions.

Those words are essential tools in my shop.  Glad to see you got it licked Jerry.

actually only took about 5 minutes after I let it sit for a day and got over my irritation. spit was the essential ingredient.
