Title: Stihl KM 94 R multi task
Post by: Cut4fun . on August 05, 2015, 02:04:41 pm
Stihl is listening back to 2 strokes.  Could this make me look over the echo 266?   @blsnelling  I know you got you one and put the 4mix to pasture.

So likes dislikes?

Anyone know if soild or spring type shaft?  Strong enough to run a power broom and saw head?

I'm loving my new KM94.  It is lighter and has the RPMs of a 2-stroke.  I've not had a chance to use it with my pole saw attachment.  It does great with both the straight trimmer and edger attachments.

Stihl km94 shows 8.8 lbs on paper. can you check this.

The 94 in both KM and FS are a good seller here. Lawn crews are switching over for two reasons. Weight and the throttle dial. KM 94 will run all of the attachments with no issues.

I haven't checked but before the 94 came out there was talk of a hollow drive shaft similar to some 85 and 100 models.
