So what is the difference in the echo 590 600 620. By the way of cylinders, piston and carbs etc for them to claim better power in each step?

Glad to see I would have bet wrong.  They seem to change parts depending on serial numbers.  Not doing them all ::)

 I think on some of the newer Echo saws they are raising the exhaust port height giving more RPM  but less torque, I like old Echo torque as it cuts just as fast as high RPM low torque motors and has a nice wide powerband.  I put one of the new P@C on a Echo 8000, way less torque but more RPM.   Steve
