Title: Husky AT Project
Post by: Cat-Face Timber on October 15, 2015, 11:34:42 am
I am looking for a Husky AT project.
I am having a Husky 272 fixed up at Zoo City.
After that is done I will be wanting to go over to the dark side.

To tell you the truth, I am not sure.
Whatever size is most common, so parts are easier to find.

576 will be the oldest of the autotune saws.

In your opinion is that a good AT saw to have?

562 is probably the best of the AT's. A local place has a demo model for sale, I think it's $500 with 20" bar.

Thanks for all the info Gentlemen,

What do you think of this as a starting platform?

I think you're paying $125 shipped for bolts because that is about all that is usable on that saw. Cylinders missing fins, tank and handle are junk, mufflers junk, both sides of the case are busted. You might get a carb, coil and flywheel along with with bolts.
