I have a ChainSaw Age picture somewhere from the 1980's of another fellow from Tasmania who raced a dual powerhead Mac hotsaw.
I'll see if I can find it.

I seem to remember that old girl.

I have done some checking years ago about that twin 090 and mac, both run single cut runs, top to bottom with a running start.
I personally know 2 old timers who  can remember both saws and sawyers.

If you do manage to find it ol mate can you email me a copy ................. ya old old mate McBob

I rang and had a quick yarn with the fella who built the Twin 090's the saw is now gone all that's left are a few pics and memories

The Twin Macs I had a pic of it but have lost it the saw was built using one ignition system and two coils with the cranks locked together the builder was the brother of a faller seriously hurt in the bush but still could run a hotsaw from a wheel chair .............. no keeping a good Mac Man down

I'll take a look again tomorrow mcbob. The fella with the dual Mac had his picture taken running it right after he got out of the hospital after having cancer surgery.
He wasn't going to let ole cancer take the fun out of his life ;D :D
