Title: 500 OR 5000 Oil Plate

Is there another saw that shares the same oil plate as the 500 series? I have a 5000 that is missing the oil plate between the bar and the chain brake cover I think the part number is 530038238 ?. I have a very good dealer source for some things but if I could say, "well one for a Husky 350 will work too" that would help some.  Thanks Jeff

Inner bar plate?   Least number you give comes back to that on a poulan 260.   ???

But reading I am guessing outer bar plate?

Morning,
I was hoping you would see my post ha ha. I knew you would know what I was looking for. Yes outer bar plate the number I gave was from an ipl and I agree I may have been for the inner plate.. The photo was not very clear which one they were showing. The inner plate is fine but the outer was/ is missing. I will go back through your posts and see if one of the e-bay listings is for the outer one thanks Jeff

The link to chainsawr was the second one down but like everything he has for a partner it is not available. I don't know how many times I find something that I could use on his site but when you click on it he does not have any.

I traded Scott all of my left over 5000 490 500 325 stuff. You need to call or email. Just because it shows 0 dont mean he dont have them. ;)

My last 2 outer bar plates I found I sent out west.

They are out there. Will send you link when I come across one.

Thanks for all the help and advice,.. that is good to know that he may have the parts. I called my old dealer and he had one so I just stopped and bought it so I should be all set ,..for a while anyway.

Thanks for the info, I do however have 2 of them as of today but that can change ha ha, I will keep you in mind.
