Title: Mcculloch SP81
Post by: PM1000 on February 28, 2016, 10:37:02 pm
I recently acquired an sp81. I'm wondering why there is only one mixture adjustment screw on the carb. I'm assuming it's for high speed adjustments and there is no adjustment for low speed mixture ?

the only adjustment is the large screw at the top left corner of the picture, where the H and L adjustments normally are  are blocked off with brass plugs.

i see a walbro sdc 65 on ebay that appears to be fully adjustable, it says it is off of a 10-10a, do you think it would be large enough to run on the sp81?
