Title: Husky #345 oiler output question??
Post by: Brookside on April 26, 2016, 04:16:37 pm
I have a Husky 345. Not sure if I am getting enough oil output?

Running the saw, I do not see any oil splatter. I removed the bar and chain and
ran the saw and found oil being pumped out of the oil pump, but not sure if it's
enough oil for the chain?

I cut a lot of dead wood and find the chain has a glazed coating and is dry after
cutting for a while.

Should I replace the oil pump? Any advise on a good after market brand to use?

Can I use the adjustable oil pump that is used on the model 350?

Is a husky 345 the same as a jred 2145?  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/jonsered/cs-2145/

If it is this thread talks about upgrading the oiler to adjustable.

Might want to figure out why yours isnt oiling first. Like bar oiler hole or groove plugged up. Etc
