Title: Super EZ clutch
Post by: Fishnuts2 on July 27, 2016, 11:35:30 pm
Now that I got my Super EZ running, I found that it broke the clutch Sat. at while at a GTG.  It's the one piece cast piece type.  I ordered one off ebay and got it already today and find it to be too small.  It was listed as for a Super EZ, but now I'm confused as to what fits and what doesn't.

Will the 3 shoe type listed fit this saw?  It is red and white, which I think makes it one of the first runs in the late '60s.  Serial is: 42672321 w/ auto oiler.

Thanks!

The clutch you got was for the earlier version, they changed the shaft size to reduce failures. The small clutches are almost impossible to find now, you should be able to resell it.

Yes!  ChainsawLady noticed my problem and sold me a proper clutch part, which of course fixed the problem.

Strong little saw!
