Just saving pics of some possible trade ins PHO = PowerHead Only.
Poulan pro 375 that has a 3400 af, green air filter cover installed that was painted. Also a grey craftsman countervide. Guessing 3400 3700 ?

The guy trading me these is headed my way today. 3.5hr drive one way. :o
He must really like the vintage echos I am trading him. 3 of mine for 3 of his for a 6 saw total trade.
We were going to meet half way at a basspro shop.
Then he ask me about the d176 echo 36" echo bar and new chain I had.
Well he said how about I just drive to you to save on both of us driving. :o 8)
Told him you drive to me I will give you the 36" bar and chain for free. Least I could do I figured.
When all said and done. Being these 2 above are the series before the ones I like. I will be trading or selling these. If anyone is interested.
Coming PHO

Grey Sears will be a 3400 or 3800. That is if it has the original piston and cylinder. Sears switched from the 3700 to the 3800 ( for their 3.7 models) when the red saws were still being made. There were no gray 3700's.
-
Yep I am with Aaron it the grey will be the 3400 or 3800. Easy to tell 2 thick rings.
-
Thats the info I was needing. Thanks.
Will look at them deeper when in hand later in week. Should be here in a couple more hrs.

The 3 poulans are in my hands now and the 3 vintage echos are with their new happy owner. 8)
That 375 looks like new under the grime and covers. :o

Cant find numbers on the craftsman 3.7 3800 grey
Figured out he said the whole top cover was missing when he got it. Aka cylinder cover and air filter cover. That explains the hand guard holes missing on the cover on the PP375. He painted black I think he said green covers to use.

Gassed both saws. Started and ran PHO for blipping and idle. Both seemed fine. No real testing with bar chain and getting up to temps though.
I do remember the last owner saying he had pulled the carb on the 3.0 3.4 to replace a torn carb gasket. Not sure which one, maybe carb to intake or is there one to intake to cylinder too?
Both auto oilers was putting out oil. Checked manual oilers and they worked great.
Both saws are SOLD already too.
Be on the look out for a 375 4000 395 style hand guard on cylinder cover and high top air filter cover. New owner would like to make it right for his collection.

Just wanting to figure out what carb gasket deal looks like on the saw.
Shows 2 gaskets. 1 between cylinder and intake blok and 1 between carb and intake block. No clue which one last owner said he replaced. Can ask if it is needed.

New owner cleaned the poulan pro 375 up. :o 8)
-
Wow that saw look almost new.
-
Just saving this poulan pro 375 spec sheet from poulan back in day.

I noticed that the engine RPM no load with a 20inch bar chain was between 11,800 and 12,300. That is not bad.
The ones I have ported and dropped the cylinder down on with a muffler mod and maybe 2 degrees advance I have gotten up to 13,000 rpm.

Working on getting the 395 385 4000 one under that too. He has the whole thing.
Looks like it has 13k as first number.
