Post by: oldpro on November 07, 2016, 04:35:43 pm
I have an old book- Chainsaw Service Manual that I picked up at a mechanic's course in 1974. It covers many of the OLD model chainsaws,it gives basic data,tune-up and repair specs, and lots of exploded views of the entire saw.
If you are looking for some info or data on a vintage chainsaw you have I'm happy to help and provide you with whatever pictures and info I can.The book covers-

Bolens,Canadien,Clinton,Cobra,Comet,David-Bradley,Eclipse,Hoe,Hoffco,Homelite,Indian,Lancaster,Lombard,Mall,McCulloch,Mono,Partner,Peerless,Pioneer,Poulan,Power Products(Tecumseh),Remington,Root,Sears,Solo,Stihl,Tecumseh,West Bend,and Wright.

1974 would make it the Intertec 4th edition. They come out every few years. Found most of the editions  on ebay. 2nd edition is 1966, the oldest I have found.
