Title: Pro mac 46 ,clutch drum . Advice needed
Post by: Jez33 on January 19, 2017, 03:05:20 pm
Hallo,
I need some advice on getting a new clutch drum (sprocket) as on my pro mac 46 the teeth have worn out. I asked a spares dealer and the original drum will cost about 45 plus shipping which makes me think I can be throwing good money after bad, but on looking on ebay n amozon I see there's lots of different drums for as little as 3.50 ..

So my question is,  which modern day chainsaw has the same clutch drum for my  promac  46?

The sprocket has 7 teeth on my saw  but I'm guessing the sizes of the drums can be different too ?

ProMac 46 is an Italian made saw, see if you can find an Efco/Olympyk/Oleomac dealer and show them your drum.

Photos of the saw and the drum might help, depending on where you are in the world there may be other options.
