By chance I finally became the owner of my first China clone saw, I replied to a C-list add for a Poulan 330 and the 45cc Bluemax was also shown, both saws turned out to be NOS and both came home with me at very good price, best I can tell it's a copy of the Redmax 455avs, I will say that the saw really does run well, haven't cut with it yet, It didn't come with a bar or chain, I fitted a 20"B/C from my 3100 Poulan and it feels strong enough to handle it, but I'm going to drop it down to a 16"er, the 20" set up just happened to ready to mount and I wanted to see if it would fit and oil which it did, but I still think this saw needs a K095 mount bar, I think a dedicated thread is in order for these saws as they seam to be quite popular, cheap and east to modify...... ;) ;) ;)

Ther was 3 more 330 up that way too.  The guy with that post still had them and wanted me to make a offer. I didnt.

I was buying up all the 60cc stuff when I came across all the 54cc 330's.

I have a friend that's ordering a 660 'kit' from Huztl soon.  Will be interesting to see what arrives.  Thinking we should run good bearings (likely Nachi) and Caber rings in it for the best chance of success.

They're reproducing all manner of parts for the older Stihls as well as the 2 and 3 series Huskies.  I'm going to try some of their clutches and other consumables as soon as they arrive here.

Trust me when I say I got a great deal on both.... ;D.....I would have given more for just the 330 than I ended up giving for both, I didn't realize until I got home that both had never seen wood, run yes, cut no, with the 330 being new and not cut with makes me want to find a good used one to actually use and save the new one, there is one south of me about an hour, I may still hook up with the guy.

I put a Farmertec 268 cylinder on my Husky 61.  The only odd thing was that I had to order new carburator bolts.  Still need to replace the seals.

Got back from the wedding over weekend just in time. UPS showed up with this 660G.
Thanks Lucas Bielfelt and Manny Leo Xiong for the chainsaw to shakedown and see what they are about finally too. Will try and get with a friend I sold one of my stock 660 too to compare someday too.

Just tested and tuned before and during cuts.

Holzfforma G660  https://www.huztl.net/WHOLESALE-MOQ-10-Pieces-92cc-Holzfforma%C2%AE-Blue-Thunder-G660-Gasoline-Chain-Saws-Power-Head-Without-Guide-Bar-and-Chain-Top-Quality-By-Farmertec-One-year-warranty-All-parts-are-compatible-with-MS660-066-Chainsaw-p732329.html

I did pull and put my own sparkplug in it.

Cuts as should and works as should.  Was actually impressed with it for stock saw. Even got her set fat for now.

Cant tell any difference in it and the last used stihl 660 I sold in the cuts.

I even liked that stock chain they sent with it out of the box.

Looks like a sugi or tus copied bar.

24" buried dry ash

How many hours you have on this saw now kevin  No way I have the spare cash for a genuine 660 but one of these is within range but also dont want to throw away money on something that will s##t itself in the first 6 months. Are these run at 25 to 1 like many of the imports are , I have run a little 58cc Giantz chainsaw for about 12 months I keep it in the trunk of my car for when I find windfalls roadside, rather one of these gets knocked off if my car gets broken into than one of my old macs

Only on 3rd tank.  Dont have anything big around besides this piece and nobody has called needing any help quartering stuff anymore.  So break in has been slow.

Some guys are milling with them in CR group and have 1+ years on them.  But then you got guys having issues. They seem hit or miss.  1 guy bought 3. 1 runs great other 2 vibrate he says.

When clearing the logging road I didnt even take it. As the 3 cube size saws was only thing going to be needed.

Right now your Gov has stopped them from being shipped into Australia from my understanding on a thread on it.

@pete  the problem has been solved now. Can order direct.   =  There was an issue a few months ago with shipping to Australia, but they fixed all of that. Iím not sure if there is another issue again, but that would be news to me.

Just talking with a guy with a G666 and milling. He is running stock as it comes. But he ordered the aftermarket HO oiler for it too and installed.

He just showed some nice milling too.
