Title: 2100/395 piston
Post by: chainsman1 on February 21, 2017, 06:26:23 am
Does somebody know the piston pin to crown measurement on a 2100,395 and a 066 stihl?
Im looking for a replacement piston on my 2100 and if i could do a pop off or mill the head it would be great.
Thanks

395 is shorter by about .065". Pin to crown on a 660 is .672"

and if your using a 395 piston in a racesaw like I think you are be very carefull, the ring land breaks on the 395 piston pretty easy once screaming at high rpms and even worse on alcohol , the thick rings just donot work

I haven't used one yet. Been using the 395 work saws in 6 cube gas. Trying to get a 661 to beat it
