Have you checked the I idle and adjust to idle or have you check your L setting.

I hope you did not run it to much.   That sure would score a piston up in a hurry.

Double check the impulse make sure it is ok.   Also make sure the diaphragms and the gaskets are ok, and in there correct, or and that the correct ones are in the carb.

I cleaned it out in a sonic cleaner  and I put in a walbro kit . I had a guy tell me that the check valve in carb may be bad and I would have to replace the carb

That is another possibility but I would check those things I mentioned before replacing the carb.

Sometimes when rebuilding these carbs you need to be careful using compressed air.   Too high of pressure can mess up the check valves.

that's probably what happened to much air

I read on here about using a 620 ign.coil  on a 600p to get rid of the rev limiter .will a 620 p carb  work on a 600p ?

620p carb is a direct bolt on and should be an improvement over stock. IIRC it is something like a 1mm larger venturi than the 590/600 carb.

coil is also a direct bolt on

cs-600p carb has the pass through - semi fixed jet in the metering chamber.  If the check valve in that jet is bad, Echo wants you to buy a new carb.  The workaround is the Husky HDA-199 uses the same semi fixed jet, and walbro sells it through their parts distribution system.

86-578-1 Nozzle Assembly

The repair procedure is to strip the carb down, warm up the casting and press the bad jet into the throttle bore.  Use a light hammer and a 1/8 punch.  Tap the new jet in from the metering chamber while the casting is warm.

For tuning its best to keep the engine under a load and off the rpm limiter to set the high side.  Otherwise, use a tach.
