Title: Brazil made 395
Post by: Cut4fun . on June 21, 2017, 12:52:57 pm
Dont know if any of you caught this post awhile back.  But anyhow pic below.

Brazil made 395

Saving info from chainsaw repair group =  I am a member of the Husqvarna dealer council and I talked to one of the guys while at corporate in Charlotte several months ago and the next generation should be out in less than 2 years. Hoping for this year. 595xp will be sick. They will make the 395's and 372's for about a year alongside the new big 5 series saws. The remaining 395s are also being made in Brazil. Have sold 10 of the made in Brazil 395s so far 0 issues.
Sadly the 3120 may disappear in a number of years. Currently no plans for a 5 series 3120.

Interesting,
I saw a 385XP today on FB Repair. It had flippy caps, what relation is this saw to the 395XP?

It's in the same family as the 390xp .

You can put the husky flippy cap on all the huskys take that size. Have threads on them here.  I can put the husky flippy cap on my poulan gas caps too.

Thanks, now that I think of it my  new 550XP has them screw in flippy caps. Always worried I may break them but every little bit to make the saw more streamlined is good.

If one broke the flippy , they have a area inside for flat screwdriver end or scrench

If you bought a new husqvarna 395xp lately. Pull that muffler for a peek.  Just like they did on the 390xp there has been a run on them like this.

Havent confirmed yet that they all were Brazil made 395 yet. But so far 4 of them and 2 was only  20 different in serial run.

Is not that arrow on the piston supposed to be facing the other direction.

Yep.

But even if arrow were wrong (which have seen before) most folks know not to put pins in exhaust side.

Husky been bad about this. 390xp now395xp.

Used to see it long ago back on the poulan 3450 saws. Had several of those like this.  Think I still saved some of the pistons just to show.
