Anyone run this chain on regular 3/8 bars and sprockets? I called them and couldn't get a straight answer yes or no.

picco 3/8LP not on regular 3/8 bars.
I do run it on regular rims though. With picco LP bars. Works good enough for me and been doing it for years.

What would happen if used with 3/8 bar? I haven't found a LP bar like I need yet.

Over time the LOPro 3/8 chain's links will peen and kink up then eventually break.
Look at the Cannon Super Mini bars Bailey's can order. 3/8 L.P. bars up to 32".
Chinese rebadged Windsor mini pro tips are what is used.
Logosol sells a L.P. spur drum sprocket for a MS660.

660 is what is for. I got some red oak and some hickory and thought it might be a little faster. Also got a yellow pine that's dying I'll cut up and 32" will be very close, I was hoping for a 36" bar, anyway this is the info I was looking for.

You're welcome dp , I'm sure that 660 L.P. spur drum is still a regular Stihl part #
Ive had mine for years for my 066. Bailey's will probably have one as they used to and also sell Logosol mills.
The idea with the narrow kerf from the little chain may not always increase cutting speed . But it will give you an extra piece of lumber or 2 from a cant.
