Title: CS-330T limiter cap mod questions
Post by: Jaymo on November 04, 2017, 08:50:48 pm
CS-330T.
Appears to be a Walbro WT 739 or WT 1015-1
There are two tabs on each of the limiter caps.
Which tabs do I remove?
Do I remove both tabs from each of the limiters?

Do I just remove the tab closest to the carb body? (needle end of cap)

Do I remove the tab farthest from the carb body (screwdriver slot end of cap)

Sorry to sound like an idiot.
Don't want to make a mistake.
Would rather ask questions before doing it, than have to ask how to fix what I did.

Remove both tabs so they are round and reinstall. Those tabs grind off on a bench grinder real easy but hang on to them good so they don't go flying.   Steve

Thanks for the reply.
Have done so, and will "go loud" with the saw in a little bit.

Need to fine tune the carb some more, but it's responding well to the muff mod.
