Title: Stihl FS80 and others
Post by: Cut4fun . on November 28, 2017, 03:38:04 pm
Picked up a bunch of stuff local as it is to warm to hunt deer down south.

Then a echo trimmer, poulan maroon trimmer, poulan maroon blower. 6hp craftsman power washer.

So is a stihl fs 80 any good?   Looks like this one.

Pretty much the same as a FS85 I had.  Lots of em in commercial service in my area.  I was happy with mine til I loaned it never saw it again.  Maybe had 40 hrs. on it.

I worked on some those Kevin when I was doing my part time thing.    The problems with those were like everything else I saw and that was the carbs.    If people did not take care of them the carbs went bad.    Other wise they seemed to work good.
