Title: 262xp carb recommendation #5180122
Post by: bud on February 03, 2018, 11:28:52 am
First post to a great site.  I'm not a saw guy but, I'm trying, it's in my blood.  Boys and I have have 3 husky, 3 stihl and Poppies old McCulloch.  He was a logger who passed at 102/retired at 88 so tell the EPA to shove their "safe" carbs.  He and his BIL always did our saw work so that we could fire our outdoor boilers.  With both of them gone we are trying to fill in the gaps.

Poppie's BIL had my 262xp.  We now have it minus the carb.  I can't order a carb because,  I'm confused due to all the carbs that came on the 262xp.  262XP #5180122;  I think I need the HDA 120 #503281611.  Of course the most expensive one.

What carb should I use to get the best bang for my buck?  Where should I get it?  Anyone here have one??

144 120 and the bigger 87.  Finding and buying a 144 or 120 is all you need.
