Sthil 026 almost complete now just bar and chain it’s been my first rebuild enjoyed it only thing which I am wondering is shall I change my oil cap which is the original and bit batterd shall I go back to same style or go for ones like the ms260 with the white handle style I have been trying to keep it to spec all the way can’t wait to cut with it 🙂

026 is screw in. 260 is the later flippy cap deals. Not interchangeable.

Not interchangeable. = Nope.
IMO just buy some new older screw in's. Better IMHO
