Title: Husqvarna 455 Stalls When Hot
Post by: dudechuck on August 13, 2019, 07:33:28 am
I searched but got no results and I know this has been asked before. But my Husqvarna 455 starts great and runs great until it gets hot after about 15 minutes of run time.

I have changed spark plug, fuel filter, air filter, re-tuned ( which I am not good at) and a couple more things that I cannot remember. After 15 minutes the chain will bog down as if what I am cutting is to much for it. Then after another minute or so it turns off. I have no problem starting it but it does the same thing right away. Let it rest maybe 20 minutes it will cut fine then repeat the above.

Any ideas?

Just a WAG, I was thinking coil going out. Also have you ever put a fresh carb kit in. Stiff diaphragms, but that shows up during a cut. Then take out of cut then does in cut again.

Chain bogs down, Notice any engine performance decline before that?

I woild check the chain brake spring if not.
