I've got a bunch of .354 3/8"x.050"x73dl chain. Decided to try it on my PP380 Super. 380 has an Oregon 2050 hard nose bar on it. Swapped the rim and strung a loop on it. Chain is WAY too long. Tried a Homelite UHL 20" hard nose, chain is still too long. What?? Counted links on the chain I had on the Oregon bar stamped 2050. 68dl. Don't have any other K095 hard nose bars so I converted it back to 3/8". Maybe another day I'll try to use 30 loops of .354.

Do you have one of those old chain charts with .354 chain? I wonder what they come out to be side by side.

Should be on the McCulloch chain chart I got from you a while back. Haven't opened pkg. yet. Can lay 3/8" 72 dl side by side for comparison. First time I've been on in days Montezumas revenge had a hold of me for 5 days.

3/8" X 72DL is the same length as .354 x 73dl.
