I'll clean up thread and put that link in your post above.
Thanks for manual, sent to owners.

Well let us know how it works.

Hopefully they figure it out with the manuals sent. So far no joy I guess.

I don't read Chinese (or patent language), but the drawings (more after page 34 in second patent document listed) are helpful. There are clearly some similar concepts, but these show a flat sharpening platten / surface, versus a round one, and a gear driven grinding head, versus a gravity fed one.
This patent may have been a precursor in the development? But compare those drawings to the cut away photos and IPLs in the Temco thread.

It's dated 2015 in that foreign manual

Philbert I had deleted 2 of your post and one of mine to clean up the thread on the weird links. No clue where the one went with the link you were asking about after I fixed link for ya. But here it is again with working link. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain/automatic-chain-sharpener-under-$300/

Thanks.
For those interested, that link is to a thread on a similar (identical?) auto grinder that I had he chance to evaluate almost a year ago. Includes IPL, 'cut-away' photographs of the innards, and my impressions as a user.
