Mozwood chainsaw

Guy selling info.

Titan Mozwood and Solo saws from Mr Jameson in Durango Iowa during the 50s and early 60s . This saw is stuck but intact. Has been under roof for years. Mozwood was Jameson's own idea and it has the Durango Ia letters on the fuel tank.

More info dug up.

Elmo Jameson, Jameson Saw Shop, Durango, Iowa. Mozwood A-7

Jameson started manufacturing his Mozwood A-7 chain saw in 1958; he continues producing
approximately 100 units annually.

The Mozwood, powered by a 77 West Bend engine, features a 2-piece handle for-close-to-the-ground
clearance. Listing for $229, the saw carries a guarantee for 6 months. It features a 7/63 chain with a 7/16 pitch;
½-inch and 404 sprockets and chains are also available.

Jameson's organization assembles the Mozwood and castings are made by a Midwest foundry.
