G'day mate, you may want to check on the origins of the MS180 available in the US, because the ones we're getting here now (Aust) are made in China.

Nope still VB made ones here.

Only thing made in China exported to the states is the HS45 hedge clipper.

And I don't think they'll be making that model after this year anyway.

Cale so Australia is getting China made saws?

 I was told a guy bought a hedge trimmer here  and it was made in china here in the states.  Sad days indeed.

We have had some China made Stihl products for a few years. I know all saws 230 and larger are made in Germany, will check all product tomorrow.

230 and bigger comes from Germany. 170/180 and trimmers from US. HS 45 from China. Vacuums from Hungary.
