Title: can i put a 372 jug on a 570 there junk stroke the same

just wondering if i can do this on my 570 the things a piece of junk new ring good compression pops every time you pull it just will not go never been stumped with saws before this thing is garbage can even get new ring to seat good compression 120 with 1 pul pops 3 pulls she is at 140-145 but still only pops what is going on with this thing. help me i am pulling out my hair and i have none.

Sounds like a timing issue.
Have you checked the flywheel, keyway and crank?

Will it run when primed?  Do you have a know good ignition to swap onto the saw?  145psi is normal for these saws and plenty of compression to run well.


Is there any play in the bearings?

WAG: have you checked seals etc for leaks.

Did you figure out why it needed rebuild (what had caused problems in first place). How was it running before you pulled it down etc.
